Your IT Recruiter is looking for a Platform Engineer for our client.
<\/div>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

This position will be working as<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Platform Engineer<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span>for one of its top clients, John Deere, located in Moline, IL. This role requires technical expertise in cloud web application design and development. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

The candidate will be responsible to help the team move towards infrastructure as a code.  Work with the team’s Infrastructure Engineers to find innovative ways to focus on creating a Digital Workspace Platform to be consumed by other Infrastructure Engineers. <\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Must haves:<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

- Experience in the design, development, testing, and integration/deployment of highly complex software solutions leveraging DevOps concepts<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
- Experience with Rest APIs<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
- 2+ years of experience in relational (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and non -relational (NonSQL: MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Redis, Couchbase, Apache HBase) databases<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
- 2+ years of experience with Git<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
- 2+ years of experience using scripting languages – Javascript (Node.js), Python, PowerShell<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ex: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Salt)<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
- Must have good problem -solving skills<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
- Demonstrated passion for technical learning and identifying areas for innovation <\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
