What do you need to bring us?

• Proven experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration and migration, specifically versions 11 and 12;
• Strong expertise in Java, including hands-on experience with Java 1.6 and later versions;
• Solid understanding of WebLogic clustering, load balancing, and high-availability setups;
• Ability to assess current WebLogic configurations and translate them effectively to the OCI environment;
• Strong troubleshooting skills for WebLogic and Java environments, including performance tuning and debugging;
• Experience working in Linux-based environments for WebLogic and Java deployments;
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Written and spoken English (nice to have);
• Written and spoken Spanish (mandatory).

What do we expect you to do?

• Execute the migration of WebLogic environments (versions 11 and 12) from on-premises infrastructure to OCI;
  
• Analyze existing on-prem WebLogic server setups and assist in configuring equivalent WebLogic environments on OCI IaaS;
  
• Perform the migration of Java applications (version 1.6 onwards) to the cloud, ensuring compatibility and stability in the OCI WebLogic environment;
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure WebLogic server configurations align with the OCI environment’s setup (compute, storage, and networking managed by another team);
• Troubleshoot any migration-related issues within the WebLogic and Java environments, including tuning WebLogic performance and adjusting Java configurations as needed;
• Work closely with application teams to ensure minimal disruption during the migration process.
