In this role, you will be working on a large-scale, modern C++/Python/Java/.NET library. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining a robust build and delivery process for our multi-language, multi-platform library using modern CD/CI tools. You will also work on developing the library itself, potentially including the auto generation of language bindings and documentation and the implementation of regression and testing frameworks. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who want to have an immediate and lasting impact as part of a small team.
You hold a MS or BS degree in computer science, software engineering, physics, mathematics, or another hard science.
You have a thorough understanding of modern software engineering best practices: interfaces, modularity, version control, unit testing, CD/CI, documentation, etc.
You have experience with modern devops toolchains, including GitHub or Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and similar tools, as well as cloud infrastructures (e.g. AWS, Azure)
You have experience with both Python, and at least one of C++, Java, or .NET, and a willingness to become proficient with all four languages and toolchains.
You have experience working with modern language build systems, such as CMake, Maven, Bazel, setuptools, etc.
You are a confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, who can independently produce both concise, clear code and excellent documentation.
You may be an experienced open source code contributor or maintainer.Β
