About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and internal tooling. Responsibilities
- Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment-related issues.
- Help manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem documentation.
- Contribute to automating repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and runbooks.
- Participate in on-call rotations as experience grows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in a DevOps, systems administration, or software development role.
- Basic familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration fundamentals.
- Exposure to version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Relevant certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Linux+, etc.).
