IT Architecture & Cloud Engineering Intern

The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) applies cutting-edge technology to operating a reliable electricity system, managing competitive markets for wholesale electricity, and planning for the Empire State's energy future.  The NYISO invites applications for a full-time intern on our IT Architecture & Cloud Engineering team. 

This intern will perform research and complete training on specific assigned cloud technologies solutions. This individual will participate in some Machine Learning use cases to demonstrate the use of the technology and document the outcomes and recommendations.

Qualifications include:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program focused in Computer Science or related discipline
• Ability to perform independent research
• Demonstrated technical capabilities
• Strong programming skills with the ability to quickly learn new languages and new cloud services
