Job Description




We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud DevOps Team Manager to lead our team in delivering managed services to our customers level 2 and 3 support on Cloud and Cloud DevOps-related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management and be well-versed in the technologies utilized by our team. The DevOps Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring timely delivery of services, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. 

Main Responsabilities:
  • Assigning responsibilities to team members based on their expertise and skills. 
  • Provide guidance and support, coaching and professional development opportunities to each team member. 
  • Support the team members in their professional growth through training roadmap and objectives aligned with the HCI Tower goals. 
  • Foster a positive work environment, ensuring that each team member feels valued and supported while pushing them to excel and achieve personal and team objectives. 
  • Define objectives that align with the higher goals set by Delivery and Tower Leads. Track team progress towards the achievement of these goals. 
  • Manage project priorities and timelines, overseeing its execution and ensuring successful delivery. 
  • Identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring adherence to security protocols and policies. 
  • Facilitate effective communication between the Server Operations Team and all involved stakeholders like customer, Delivery Team, other departments, etc. 
  • Manage a team of Cloud DevOps Engineers covering Azure, Aws and GCP technologies to ensure successful delivery of services to customers. 
  • Provide direction to the team to ensure they are meeting customer needs in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Actively participate in the development of the service offerings and ensure they align with internal capabilities. 
  • Ensure that Cloud DevOps Team goals and objectives are met and adhered to approved budget. 
  • Develop and manage the support activities together with HCI Service Delivery Manager and HCI Tower Lead to maintain alignment with business needs. 
  • Ensure that the Cloud DevOps Team aligns with the Customer Statement of Work Documents and other standards and regulatory requirements that govern delivery. 
  • Accountable to monitor Cloud DevOps Team Service Level Agreements for the delivered services and mitigate deviations from the standard with specific activities.    
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and team performance. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technical service coordinator and delivery managers, including regular communication and reporting on service delivery and overall customer satisfaction. 
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed on areas like workload prioritization, Knowledge Management, IT Service Management and Delivery Operations.  
  • Continual audit and assessing Server Operations Team members allocation on projects. Supervise maintaining balanced effort/ volume allocation between individuals within the team.   









Knowledge and Skills Requirements: 
  • 4+ years of experience in people management, preferably in a technical field. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented as well as customer-centric approach. 
  • Good knowledge of Cloud DevOps related technologies and tools used. Good understanding of ITSM specific tools like JIRA, ServiceNow and others.  
  • Proven ability to manage a team, including goal setting, coaching, and performance management. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience. 
 
Other Requirements: 
  • Global travel may be required. 
  • English Business Fluent 
  • Additional language is an asset. 
  • Certification Requirements:
  •  Familiarity with ITIL v3 or 4 would be advantageous. Other technical certifications related to overall Cloud technologies would be a plus.
