Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (DevOps)to be part of a Tier 3 support team that has experience to provide proven, industry leading capabilities to our customer in Northern, VA.  Peraton has been supporting our classified customer for 20 years and has a history of supporting building some of the most important & technically advanced applications.

 

The Ideal candidate shall possess experience with most of the following technologies: Azure cloud, Azure Kubernetes, DevOps / CI/CD using Microsoft TFS, MS SQL, Angular / C# and Python.

Our unique program delivers advanced, technical infrastructure support for our customer and its relative nodes over the world. The team provides Software and System Engineering, Software and System Development and Operations (DevOps) services, Data Science, Big Data and Entity Resolution Engineering services advanced data discovery, analytics, exploitation, and visualization capabilities through application development and tools integration.

 

The Full Stack Developer (DevOps) will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and triaging trouble tickets for quick resolution of identified technical issues. Work closely with helpdesk and software development team members to resolve user and system issues in a large application used by thousands of people. Oversee software deployments and improve the Microsoft TFS CI/CD pipeline. Triage, investigate and resolve technical problems using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and with other tools and applications. 
  • Author and deploy data fixes. 
  • Oversee and improve the existing software deployment process.
  • Compile and communicate daily status reports.   

** This role is required to provide on-site support M-F **

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • An active/current Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with eight (8+) years of relevant experience; master’s degree with six (6+) years of experience.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.
  • Comfortable authoring and executing SQL statements and powershell scripts. 
  • Have some experience with CI/CD pipelines, Microsoft BI Cube, data warehouses, or reporting.

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
