Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline deployment pipelines.
  • Design and develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using python, Kubernetes, and ansible.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD processes using GitLab, Jenkins, and other standard SecDevOps tools to ensure smooth code development, integration and delivery.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle, including compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of cloud-based (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability best practices.
  • Research and implement new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement in the software delivery process.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and the architecture of deployed solutions.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress and challenges.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D; minimum 15 years in lieu of degree.
  • Expert knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence
  • Expert in use of automation tools such as Python, Powershell, Terraform, Ansible.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to mentor and coach teammates.
  • Ability to collaboratively interact with customers including senior management, data scientists, and end users.
  • TS/SCI with poly

Desired

  • Experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as K8s and Docker.
  • Experience with virtualization including virtual clusters for processing optimization
  • Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch
  • Experience with Splunk to enhance logging, monitoring, and analytic capabilities
  • Experience with EC2, S3.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
