Job Description

Organization:

As the Product Field - Vehicle Diagnostics we shape the next level of vehicle diagnostic solutions by providing modular software paired with consulting and professional services, supporting the transition to software-defined vehicles with components and services that monitor vehicle health for precise troubleshooting, all tailored to fit the digitalization journey of OEMs.

Description:

  • Automation and Tooling: Develop and maintain automated pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins
  • Cloud and System Administration: Manage and optimize cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure), ensuring scalable and efficient infrastructure.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Implement and manage containerization using Docker, and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Set up and maintain monitoring solutions. Analyze system performance and implement optimizations for scalability and reliability.
  • Security: Ensure robust security measures are in place, including network security, secure coding practices, and data encryption. Regularly update systems to address security vulnerabilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments. Provide technical leadership in high-pressure situations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure a smooth deployment process. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Mentoring and Leadership: Guide and mentor junior DevOps team members. Lead DevOps strategy planning and implementation.
  • Research and Development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

[Mandatory]

  • Education: You have a completed degree in the field of computer science, technical computer science, IT security, physics or similar studies.
  • Experience and know-how: You have at least 3 years of hands-on software engineering/SRE/DevOps experience with profound knowledge in operating a cloud service. You have experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, logging, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines automation.
  • Working Practice: You have an independent, systematic as well as focused way of working practice. Your hands-on mindset and intercultural skills characterize you. You have at least 7 years of experience in agile software development where you used programming languages like Go, Typescript, or Python.
  • Personality: You have a high sense of responsibility and very good communication skills. You are reliable and a team player.
  • Enthusiasm: You are characterized by your passion to solve hard technical problems and find creative solutions.
  • Languages: You have business fluent English skills and Japanese proficiency above beginner level.
