Role Description The DevOps Engineer is involved across the entire life-cycle of the development process, including identifying and remediating security concerns. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of an application’s build, release, deployment, and configuration activities. You will work closely with Security and IT team members to understand the requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

Build and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient SaaS application platform to meet established SLAs
Utilize laC, configuration management, and command execution tools to maintain infrastructure
Author utilities and tools as needed to improve the efficiency of the team
Automate and troubleshoot builds, deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response
Monitor site stability and performance and troubleshoot site issues
Scale infrastructure to meet increasing demand
Mange cross-functional requirements working with members of IT, Security, Data Science, Engineering, Product, and other departments
Collaborate with internal teams to bring new features and services into production
Develop and improve operational practices and procedures
Triage, mitigate, and remediate security vulnerabilities across all infrastructure, services, and applications
Develop and meet standards for information security and compliance, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, CCPA, and applicable privacy regulations, etc.

Your Impact and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Experience in 24x7 production operations, preferably supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS or cloud service provider
Experience with cloud infrastructure environments (AWS)
Experience with containerization technology (Docker with AWS ECS Fargate)
Experience with C# applications and related .NET technology stack deployed in containers or virtual hosts (.NET Framework, .NET Core)
System administration, configuration, and debugging experience for Windows server and Linux
Experience using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash), configuration management tools (Puppet) and command execution frameworks (Ansible)
Experience with administration and troubleshooting of databases and messaging platforms (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Redshift, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Kinesis)
Experience with Go is desirable
Experience using Git to manage code
Strong affinity for Open Source software and Linux
Strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques
Strong interpersonal and teaming skills with the ability to set and enforce process and influence engineers who are not direct reports
Ability to operate in an agile, fast-paced environment
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of the organization to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results
Adapt in a positive manner to changing priorities and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
