What you know.
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms
- 3+ years working in Linux based environments
- 3+ years experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) technologies and best practices
- 3+ years experience with cloud services, preferably AWS (RDS, EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, EKS, etc)
- 2+ years using Terraform and Packer or other orchestration and automation tools (Puppet/Chef/Ansible)
- 2+ years experience with Kubernetes
- 2+ years experience with containerization such as Docker
- 2+ years working with databases (SQL and NOSQL)
- Expert knowledge in Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, etc)
- Experience using GIT, Jenkins
- Strong knowledge in infrastructure and application security practices (IDS/IPS)
- Experience using and configuring APM tools
- IT Troubleshooting and maintenance experience.

What you’ll do.
- Review, design, and implement improvements to our infrastructure
- Create, maintain, and document automation tools and processes
- Work with the development team to support our SaaS offering both now and as we move into the future state of Function Point
- Implement and maintain APM integrations and monitoring tools
- Monitoring and ensuring our infrastructure is right sized, performant, and redundant
- Manage backups and backup rotation via scripts and automation tools
- Assist in selection and implementation of appropriate IDS/IPS systems
- Participate periodically in maintenance windows outside of office hours to facilitate major infrastructure changes as needed
- Work with the IT team for user SSO management in our suite of internal applications
