DevOps Intern- Summer 2025 

 

As a DevOps Intern with RF-SMART, you will work directly with our Platform Engineering team on meaningful and impactful projects. You’ll be exposed to industry-leading technologies, tools, and methodologies as you contribute to real-world projects. If you're looking to immerse yourself in the world of DevOps and infrastructure automation, this role is perfect for you! This internship will also be a part of RF-SMART's Summer 2025 Internship Program.  

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team on the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Assist in automating infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring processes. 
  • Work on one or more internal projects, where you'll have the opportunity to work closely in real-world DevOps challenges. 
  • Help ensure system reliability, scalability, and security for our platforms. 
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues related to cloud environments, deployment processes, and application performance. 

 

Summer Internship Eligibility Requirements:    

To be eligible for the RF-SMART Summer Internship Program, students must meet the following requirements:    

  • Enrolled in a degree program at the time of the internship    
  • Considered a Junior or Senior by credit hours currently majoring in Computer science, engineering or a related technical field.   
  • Available to work 40 hours per week on-site at US East Office in Jacksonville, FL   
  • Eligible to work in the United States of America for any employer without the need for future sponsorship    

Details of the Program:     

  • Duration: 5/12/2025 – 8/1/2025 (12 Weeks)    
  • Hours: 40hrs per Week (9am-5pm Eastern Time)   
  • Pay: $20 per Hour    
  • Learning & Development Activities: Approximately 5-6hrs per Week of these activities including: Group Project, Meet the Leader Sessions, Mentorship Program, and classes focused on professional growth
