 Job Description: 


Clearance Level Must Currently Possess:  Top Secret SCI.  The candidate must be able to obtain and/or maintain a CI Polygraph if selected for this position

Millennial Software is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Engineer to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer.

Technical Tasks/Requirements 

  • Utilize strong technical foundation with skills such as scripting and working to get tools from production into operation using systems engineering skills. 
  • Develop innovative solutions and coordinate those solutions between members of the technical and operational staff at a classified government site and end-users in the field. 
  • Work closely with customers, operational staff, and development staff to solve problems in an operational environment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of engineering practices and technical solutions. 
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies. 
  • Take direction from senior technical leadership and/or Project Manager on project specifications. 
  • Setup, configure and maintain various EC2 and Containerized environments to support development, test, integration, and operational software threads. 
  • Setup, configure and maintain Cloud environments (i.e. AWS).

     
Requirements

 Minimum Skills Required

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Willing to work onsite in Government customer sites in Northern Virginia 
  • Experience with automated deployment technologies such as Terraform and Ansible. 
  • Linux system administration experience (RedHat 8/9). 
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python). 
  • Prior experience using Kubernetes to orchestrate the deployment, scaling, and management of Docker containers. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must hold active Security+ certification. 
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab. 
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core services (i.e., EC2, S3, SQS).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting software in a production environment. 
  • Computer Science or related degree.
