B-Stock Solutions LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer in San Mateo, California to automate, develop, and maintain next-generation SaaS infrastructure. Build and secure infrastructure tools, collaborate with developers to establish standards for secure, high-quality deployments, and automate processes. Perform system monitoring and maintenance on dockerized cloud systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Support and troubleshoot production issues, improve runbooks, and conduct root cause analyses. Automate user and service account management. Salary: $156,000 per year.
Minimum Requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor’s or the foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or related and 2 years of experience in DevOps engineering including: managing servers in on-premise data centers and Cloud environments, including utilizing Google Cloud services such as GKE, Compute Engine, Big Query, and SQL Databases; deploying and managing container-based applications; using Terraform for managing infrastructure in Cloud environments (servers, databases, networks); scripting in Bash and Python; deploying Magento, WordPress, and PHP-based applications; troubleshooting Linux server issues; developing HELM and Kubernetes templates; using GitLab for CI/CD; managing GitLab servers and GitLab runners, and patching security vulnerabilities; managing WordPress and FusionAuth servers; deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and Hashicorp Vault servers; using Elasticsearch for logs aggregation and visualization; using DataDog, Nagios, and TICK stack for infrastructure monitoring; utilizing PagerDuty for on-call rotation; using Hashicorp Packer to build machine images; and using Ansible for configuration management.
