This is a remote position.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in DevOps/Platform engineering and expertise in CI/CD lifecycle, Java, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Bonus points for experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
Job Specifications:
• Proven experience in DevOps/Platform engineering.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab and Jenkins.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with infrastructure as code, specifically using Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills -
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
Requirements
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security, and address any issues promptly.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and environmental configurations.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.
Work Shift - 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST
