In this challenging role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of applications in the market applications domain. Your responsibilities include:



  • Acting as an intermediary between application users, the IT organization, and software vendors.

  • Identifying and assessing business needs and new features in collaboration with users, as well as autonomously planning new releases, updates, and tests.

  • Continuously improving applications in terms of functionality, availability, and cost efficiency, while adhering to agreed service level agreements and cybersecurity requirements.

  • Actively participating in application architecture development projects while considering existing architectural guidelines.

  • Creating customized reports and statistics on business transactions and managing all required documentation.

  • Providing 24/7 on-call service.








Requirements

  • Degree in computer science (bachelor’s or master’s) or equivalent training.

  • Several years of experience in application management and familiarity with user support, or several years of experience as a senior developer with a solid understanding of application operations.

  • Practical experience in developing and operating applications in the cloud (preferably Azure) as well as in DevOps security methods and requirements.

  • Practical experience with at least one programming language (preferably Java or C#), knowledge of IT architectures, technologies, and interfaces, as well as application monitoring (preferably ELK Stack).

  • Knowledge of data management, configuration, and interfaces, as well as ITIL processes (ITIL Foundation certification is a plus).

  • Practical experience in requirements engineering and specification writing.

  • Strong customer orientation, good adaptability, and determination.

  • Excellent command of German and English.
