In the Banking Platform team, you will be part of a team of experts, whose sole mission is to ensure that our Banking services are running smoothly. The Banking Platform team monitors, analyzes and investigates the main pain points that affect our clients in Production.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Requirements:
  • AWS: At least 5 years of experience, especially with EKS, MSK, and VPC.
  • Containerization: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Linux: Proficient in multiple distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL) with strong skills in troubleshooting and scripting (Bash, Python, or Perl).
  • CI/CD Automation: Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins, GitHub, and ArgoCD.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terragrunt and Terraform.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with Puppet or Ansible/Chef, especially for core banking environments.
  • Helm Charts: Practical experience in deploying Kubernetes applications using Helm.
  • Security: Strong knowledge and experience in maintaining secure infrastructure.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and a customer-centric mindset with fluency in English. Must be detail-oriented and capable of simplifying complex problems to deliver fast results.
Would Be a Plus:
  • Mentorship: Willingness and ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Linux Packaging: Experience with Linux packaging and build tools.
  • Proactive Attitude: Empathy, outstanding listening skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a DevOps, you will:

  • Build and maintain our Kubernetes clusters (not just creating tools and deploying apps), but the emphasis is on being able to do this in a code-first way: infrastructure as code;
  • Work closely with other teams to identify pain points and problems around the platform;
  • Develop new tools and frameworks to improve data platform;
  • Manage CI/CD. Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins;
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Puppet, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation;
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using tools like Prometheus, and Grafana;
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations;
  • Participate in code reviews and help teammates with constructive feedback.
