Job Posting: Software Engineering - Cloud Platform Engineer, AWS Technologies

Location: Remote (Candidates must be local to Nashville, TN, with occasional office visits)

Estimated Start Date: 12/31/2024
End Date: 07/05/2025 (with high probability of extension)
Pay Rate: $37.00/hr.


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in 24/7 production support engagements and be proficient in AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, PySpark, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.


Must-Have Skills:

  • AWS Glue, Lambda, PySpark, RDS, S3, CloudWatch (3-5 years of experience)


Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24/7 production support
  • Work with AWS technologies including Lambda, PySpark, Glue, Step Functions, RDS
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Terraform, EKS, Java, Spring Boot, Liquibase, Linux
  • Healthcare domain knowledge, especially Medicare/Medicaid plans/platforms


Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work in shifts
  • Software Engineering education with AWS tech stack expertise
  • Local to Nashville, TN (Remote with occasional travel to client locations)
  • Industry experience in Healthcare is a plus

  • AWS Step Functions: 4-6 years
  • AWS Lambda Administration: 4-6 years
  • NAS Architecture and Design: 4-6 years
  • Batch Architectures: 4-6 years
  • PySpark: 4-6 years
