This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Cloud Engineer in the United States.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure across public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will work closely with architects and technical teams to plan cloud solutions that align with both business and security requirements. This role combines hands-on deployment with strategic guidance, supporting clients in adopting cloud technologies efficiently and effectively. You will contribute to the development of internal deliverables, best practices, and intellectual property while collaborating across multiple teams. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, has a strong technical foundation, and is passionate about cloud innovation and problem-solving.

Accountabilities:

  • Support the planning, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Execute implementation plans to deploy cloud workloads and migrate applications to public cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with architects to review technical and business requirements, ensuring solutions meet organizational objectives.
  • Participate in technical design workshops, providing hands-on expertise to guide cloud adoption.
  • Assist in the creation of internal deliverables, documentation, and intellectual property to enhance service offerings.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of cloud and on-premises systems to provide expert guidance across projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, DevOps practices, and cloud solution optimization.


Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant engineering or consulting experience, with at least 1 year focused on cloud delivery (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • 1+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience (preferred).
  • Demonstrable programming skills in at least one language (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Familiarity with enterprise cloud system engineering principles and security considerations.
  • Experience supporting large-scale implementations and consulting for enterprise customers.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-starter mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant cloud certifications are required; state or federal government experience is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional team engagement.
