Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Job Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Full time with benefits

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Software Engineering role for designing and/or building the solution for AWS and/or GCP cloud
  • Expert – level proficiency in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Expertise in Openshift and Java/Groovy
  • Experience building applications using Kubernetes (GKE, EKS), Docker, Helm, Terraform, Harness/UCD
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab/Github pipelines
  • Have a “Can do” attitude.  Owning a problem doesn’t scare you, but rather empowers you to take 100% responsibility for solving it
  • You’ve experienced architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities, and related reporting to identify best practices
  • Experience working in a distributed cloud-based environment with strong DevOps skills
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps tools.  Eg: Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, Docker
  • Passion to drive automation within existing processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
