This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Azure Engineer in the United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain robust Azure cloud environments that support high availability, scalability, and performance. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to manage infrastructure, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and optimize cloud deployments. The Azure Engineer will also provide leadership on projects, define best practices, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This position requires hands-on expertise with Azure, Windows, and RDS technologies, along with strong problem-solving skills, collaborative communication, and the ability to adapt to evolving client and business needs. You will play a key part in delivering reliable cloud solutions and driving improvements across the infrastructure.

Accountabilities

·         Implement, support, and maintain 24x7 Azure CSP environments, RDS deployments, and Windows technologies.

·         Recommend Azure and Windows policies and standards while providing strategic planning guidance.

·         Manage multiple large-scale projects, providing leadership and guidance to team members.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve escalations from clients and internal teams across Azure, Windows, and RDS platforms.

·         Collaborate with customers and team members to schedule maintenance, manage incidents, and ensure timely resolution.

·         Configure and deploy Azure resources in compliance with established technology policies.

·         Optimize infrastructure for performance, redundancy, and flexibility.

·         Maintain system availability and monitor critical services.

·         Engage with third-party vendors, evaluate software, and provide recommendations to leadership.

·         Participate in ITIL-based change control activities and establish upgrade and backup strategies.

·         Contribute to on-call rotation and additional responsibilities as assigned.



Requirements

Experience & Technical Knowledge:

·         4+ years’ experience implementing and supporting Azure, Windows, and RDS technologies.

·         Extensive knowledge of Windows technologies including RDS, IIS, GPOs, and Active Directory.

·         Working knowledge of Azure networking, NetScaler Load Balancing, Microsoft CSP program, and Lighthouse.

·         Experience with M365/SharePoint and AVD implementation and support.

·         Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, ASR/DR testing, and failover procedures.

·         AZ-104 certification and familiarity with M365 infrastructure and management.

Analytical & Communication Skills:

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities.

·         Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliver results under pressure.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience building relationships across teams.

·         Positive attitude and enthusiasm for solving complex Azure, Citrix, and Windows architecture challenges.
