To support our growing portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps/Operations Specialist to join our team on a part-time contract basis.

 

Job Overview


We are looking for a Part-Time/Contract Azure DevOps / Operations Specialist who is passionate about optimizing, securing, and managing Azure cloud environments. You will work closely with both internal teams and enterprise clients, ensuring that all Azure-based operations run smoothly, efficiently, and securely. Your role will be critical in enabling AITP to deliver world-class AI solutions while adhering to the highest security and compliance standards.

 

Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee the management and optimization of Azure cloud environments for internal operations and enterprise clients, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development and deployment of applications.
  • Configure and manage Azure services such as Azure Entra, App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure Virtual Machines, and SharePoint Online to support business-critical functions.
  • Set up and manage monitoring and alerting tools to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of Azure-based applications.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to apply DevOps best practices, enhancing automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and operational workflows.
  • Ensure all Azure environments meet strict security and compliance requirements, leveraging industry standards like ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST.
  • Provide support for internal projects and client deployments, with an emphasis on troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and addressing security vulnerabilities.
  • Assist with managing AI-focused services such as Azure AI Studio, AI Search, and Copilot Studio when required.


Requirements


  • Demonstrated experience in managing and securing Azure cloud infrastructures, particularly for large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with a range of Azure services, including Azure Entra, Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Cosmos DB, and SharePoint Online.
  • Proven ability to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Strong experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights) to maintain system reliability and performance.
  • Working knowledge of security and privacy standards, including ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, distributed teams.
  • Experience with AI services in Azure, such as Azure AI Studio and Power Automate, would be a plus.

 

Location


Remote, US-based candidates preferred. The role may involve working across multiple time zones.

 

Compensation


Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
