As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate within an Agile (Scrum) team to drive innovation and maintain essential Data & Analytics services.
- Manage and improve the Data & Analytics (DnA) platforms hosted in the Microsoft Azure Cloud, supporting the organization’s data-driven goals.
- Focus on maintaining and enabling central data services to support various data teams’ use cases.
- Develop and manage automated pipelines within Azure DevOps, contributing to an "Infrastructure as Code" environment.
- Handle Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Azure VMs, and Databricks for central data services, such as Master Data Management, data integration (ETL), data virtualization, and data cataloging.
- Maintain security protocols and optimize performance and costs of cloud-based services.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A bachelor’s degree in IT or a proven track record in similar environments.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Azure Engineer within an Agile (Scrum) environment.
- Certification in Azure Foundation AZ-900 and/or Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and experience managing both Linux (RHEL) and Windows servers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to experimentation and improvement.
You should possess the ability to:
- Efficiently manage, migrate, and patch Azure resources in a production environment.
- Utilize Azure Monitor/Analytics to build dashboards and improve infrastructure insights.
- Identify and implement cost optimizations in the Azure environment.
- Create infrastructure as code pipelines within Azure DevOps.
- Document new functionalities and contribute to the internal Wiki for knowledge sharing.
- Provide incident support to maintain seamless business operations.
