As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the
design, implementation, and management of cloud-based infrastructure
and services on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will collaborate
with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, scalability, and
reliability of cloud environments. This position requires expertise.
in various Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure
Networking, and Azure DevOps, as well as proficiency in Windows
Server, SQL Server, Linux (Ubuntu), and tools like HAProxy and IIS.


Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring business
continuity
through effective disaster recovery planning and
monitoring solutions using tools like New Relic.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including
    Azure App Services, Azure Networking, and Azure DevOps.

  • Manage Windows Server (2016-2019) and SQL Server (2019) environments.

  • Deploy and manage Ubuntu Linux systems, HAProxy, and IIS for web services.

  • Implement monitoring solutions using New Relic and ensure system
    health and performance.

  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline
    infrastructure management.

  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery strategies are in
    place and tested.

  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement optimizations.

  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to
    deliver high-availability and secure cloud solutions.

  • Support and maintain documentation for Azure infrastructure and
    best practices.




  • Requirements



    Qualifications:




    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information
      Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


    • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering,
      systems administration, or a similar role.


    • Certifications:

      • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or
        Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

      • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.


    Skills Required:



    • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure,
      including Azure App Services, Azure Networking, and Azure DevOps.

    • Expertise in Windows Server (2016-2019), SQL
      Server
      (2019), and administration.

    • Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) and HAProxy for
      managing and load-balancing web services.

    • Experience managing and configuring IIS (Internet
      Information Services) for web hosting.

    • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation.

    • Strong knowledge of business continuity planning and
      disaster recovery strategies.

    • Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic for
      performance tracking and optimization.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a
      team-oriented environment.


    Advantageous Qualifications:




    • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google
      Cloud Platform.

    • Proficiency in other programming/scripting languages,
      such as Python or Bash.

    • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for
      containerization and orchestration.

    • Familiarity with network security and compliance
      standards
      such as GDPR and ISO 27001.

    • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

    • Knowledge of high-availability architectures and load
      balancing strategies
      .
