AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $88.74hr - $93.74hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• AWS Experience including IAM, EC2, KMS, ECS, EKS, Systems Manager, R53, Lambda, and State Machines.
• Experience with Ansible Tower Automation Platform.
• Linux Administration skills including networking, services, permissions, and logging.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD DevOps source/version control and pipelines.
• Shell Programming and Scripting experience in Bash or Powershell.
• Ability to obtain Peraton moderate clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure components including cluster nodes, active gates, and agents across on-prem, cloud, and colocation environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC, CI/CD, and automation tooling.
• Perform system and platform administration including incident management and remediation.
• Patch and upgrade platform components as needed.
• Participate in solution design.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform performance related issues.
• Attend and participate in daily standups and Agile ceremonies utilizing JIRA.

Nice to Have:

• Terraform IaC/CaC - Client (AWS and other providers).
• Certificate Management including TLS client/server and ACM.
• Container and Orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Nodejs, or Go.
