What you'll be doing...
  • Providing AWS cloud engineering and DevOps technical support in the definition, development and improvement of application architecture to ensure that client needs are fully met.
  • Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge.
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.

Must Have...
  • Experience with AWS Elastic Container Service, EC2, Relational Database Service, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC Networking, ELBs, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS
  • Knowledge of CloudFormation and/or Terraform IaC Tools
  • Experience working with GitOps, implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, OpenTofu and Crossplane, and Configuration tools like Ansible.
  • Knowledge of design and development of Client Server and Web Enabled Corporate applications, including network topology
  • Experience with Open Policy Agents (OPA) and Policy as Code Creation with Tools like Styra
  • Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
  • Experience with JFrog Artifactory and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)
  • Knowledge in Implementing Zero Trust using Tools like Hashicorp Boundary and Vault
  • Experience in Designing and Implementing CI/CD using GitLab and Jenkins
  • Ability to Perform Automated STIG’ing Operations of Linux and Windows Operating Systems (Virtual Machines & Containers)
  • Ability to create and convey the architectural vision for a program or project
  • Ability to establish and enforce standards and practices
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years directly related experience or Master’s degree and 3+ years directly related experience
  • TS/SCI Clearance (Preferably DHS or DoD Adjudication)

DevOps Experience/Knowledge...
  • Perform various development activities for support including continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous testing, and continuous monitoring for various APIs hosted in the cloud
  • Work collaboratively with software engineering team to design continuous integration best practices, deploy applications and automate operations and processes.
  • Develop infrastructure deployment automation scripts for seamless upgrades avoiding downtime. and processes to support uptime SLA requirements.
  • Perform script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations and assist with setup and maintenance of test environments for manual and automated testing.
  • Work in tandem with developers to provide repetitive validation testing prior to production while allowing for a continuous cycle of development followed by application security assessments.
  • Document delivery and implementation advances that meet defined service-level agreements (SLAs) and business metrics.

Nice to Have...
  • Experience with DynamoDB, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, Kinesis, EventBridge, KMS, Glue, or EKS
  • Knowledge of Git, Github/GitLab, Jenkins, JavaScript, and Python
  • Experience with Federal government agencies
  • Knowledge of Open Policy Agents like Styra
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks
  • Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Active Server Pages, JavaScript, Python, HTML, or AWS native applications, including WAF, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Transcribe, Athena, Simple Queue Service, QuickSight, or Cognito.
  • AWS Cloud Architect Certification – Cloud Practitioner or Associate-Level

  • This is a US-Based Remote position, all applicants need to be located within the United States be to considered for the position

Citizenship..
  • Applicants need to be a US Citizen to be considered for the position and have physically resided in the United States for a minimum of 3 years due to background investigation requirements.
