Our client is a social media tech firm with a team of 40+ people globally and currently has Series B funding. They are seeking an SRE/DevOps Engineer who can help grow the US team and build the technical infrastructure and product that will empower the firm to scale to 100M+ users.

Our client is a social media tech firm with a team of 40+ people globally and currently has Series B funding. They are seeking an SRE/DevOps Engineer who can help grow the US team and build the technical infrastructure and product that will empower the firm to scale to 100M+ users.
Responsibilities
Lead massive infrastructure initiatives and automation of on-prem systems and existing processes, help their product scale to hundreds of millions of users with reliable system in place
Maintain and automate their GCP infrastructure
Handle the deployment of the backend APIs through Kubernetes and be proactive to find/use/update the best tech tools
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and setting standards for secure application development while improving the stability of underlying software components
Requirements
5+ years SRE/DevOps experience
Proficient with GCP, AWS, or Azure Cloud environments
Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as code, & Observability
Background working within startup environments and/or big tech/B2C at early stages, ability to wear multiple hats and get scrappy
Autonomous, great problem solver, and engineering mindset
Experience with High-Scale Low Latency Distributed Systems
Salary Range
$200,000-$275,000
