Senior DevOps Engineer

Join the team as a Senior DevOps Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity, focusing on the Mobile APP 2.0 project. This role is fully remote, offering the chance to contribute to cutting-edge initiatives from the comfort of your own workspace.

Responsibilities

 Collaborate closely with infrastructure, development, and security teams to define and implement CI/CD and Azure cloud DevOps requirements.
 Lead the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, ensuring smooth delivery of development projects.
 Configure and manage Datadog APM, logging, and tracing solutions for various selling channels like Site, App, and Stores.
 Set up and integrate Azure cloud environments, including Azure APIM and Azure Functions, to support the evolving needs of development initiatives.
 Work alongside IT Infrastructure to establish automation frameworks using Morpheus, facilitating fully automated code deployments.
 Provide essential support for Azure APIM design requirements and monitor Azure cloud deployments for optimal application performance.
 Take ownership of administering tools and environments to support Digital Operations as required.
 Collaborate closely with IT Security to implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validations.
 Actively participate in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and stay abreast of relevant technologies and industry trends.

 A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure or DevOps roles, directly supporting development community activities.
 Expertise in Gitlab CI/CD, Azure cloud platforms (with preference for Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS, API Management, Azure Functions, Ingress, Container Registry, Azure Load Balancer), and shell scripting.
 Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for containerization and orchestration.
 Familiarity with Python scripting and Azure APIM is considered advantageous.
 A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Software Engineering experience is preferred.
 Prior exposure to third-party digital e-commerce platforms such as IBM Sterling OMS, Radial OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) is beneficial.
 Strong technical project management and documentation skills.
